D’s Keys is a private, in-home piano studio located near the Brier Creek area where northwest Raleigh meets southeast Durham.
Weekly lessons are available for beginning through intermediate students and include well-rounded instruction in technique, repertoire, musical expression, theory, sight-reading, lead sheets, and performance.
Lessons are taught by Debbie Dodson (Ms. D), who specializes in working with beginners. She believes that the early stages of learning are the most important because the foundations built at the start shape how music becomes part of a student’s life for years to come.
Debbie Dodson
Ms. D has a lifelong love of the performing arts and is trained in voice, piano, guitar, and musical theater. She’s been participating in, teaching, and leading/directing all things music and performance-oriented for many years, including piano, vocal groups and soloists, church music teams, and musical theater.
She has provided private piano instruction for over a decade, helping to launch the music education of many students.
Lesson Rates
Piano lessons are taught weekly; tuition is billed monthly.
30-minute lessons = $125/month
45-minute lessons = $180/month
60-minute lessons = $240/month
Please note: All students are required to have a practice instrument before beginning lessons.
