in-home piano instruction for beginners through intermediate levels.
D’s Keys Piano Studio
D’s Keys is an in-home piano studio located in the Brier Creek area of northwest Raleigh, NC.
Lessons are given in the studio weekly and include comprehensive training in piano technique, repertoire, artistry, theory, sight-reading, and performance.
Lessons are given by Ms. Debbie who specializes in instructing beginners. Her personal philosophy is that teaching beginners requires particular skill and care as the foundations laid at the start affects the role music plays in their lives for years to come.
Debbie Dodson
Debbie has a lifelong love of the performing arts and is trained in voice, piano, guitar, and musical theater. She’s been participating in, teaching, and leading/directing all things music and performance-oriented for many years, including piano, vocal groups and soloists, church music teams, and theater.
Debbie has provided private piano instruction for over a decade, helping to launch the music education of many beginning students. She teaches both children and adults.
“I enjoy working with beginning piano students because I understand how important it is to adapt to many factors when teaching and encouraging them, factors that are non-issues for those who already have a piano foundation.”
